The two-day annual conference serves as a ‘bootcamp’ for emerging and scaling food and drink brands, with a massive programme of panel discussions, inspiring keynote speeches, workshops and mentoring sessions.

LEADER’S LECTURES & SHOPTALK

Over 100 industry icons join to share their trade insights, with a range of lectures held by serial entrepreneurs and the hottest trend spotters too. Just some of the carefully selected speakers include; Giles Brook of Vita Coco, Julia Glotz of The Grocer, Simon Coley of Karma Cola Co., Suzie Walker of The Primal Pantry and more.  

You can also take part in some animated, industry-focused panel discussions in the ShopTalk sessions. Trade secrets of successful food and drink businesses will be shared along with the chance to ask questions and express your own thoughts too.

STARTUP STUDIOS & GROWTH LABS

A host of startup masterclasses will be held across the conference in the Startup Studios to help you get your food business off the ground. These sessions are ideal for aspiring entrepreneurs and producers in the fist 0 - 18 months of trading and startups.

The Growth Labs are skill-building sessions to explore scaling up and tackling in-depth industry issues. These sessions are ideal for trading food businesses with a turnover in excess of £150,000 per annum.

THE MARKETPLACE, PRODUCT PITCHING & TASTING PANEL

The Marketplace offers the opportunity to network with a range of hand-picked exhibitors from the food and drink industry who are passionate about supporting up-and-coming independent brands. There will also be a tasting panel where you can take a sample of your product to receive instant feedback from industry leaders including retail buyers, press, chefs and product developers to learn how to get it flying from the shelves.

DRAGON’S DEN

A Dragon’s Den style panel will also be on hand for you to pitch your food and drink business for the chance to win investment. Come prepared to voice your point of difference and huge growth potential to win over our Dragons.

  • Toast: The Afterparty which launches at Bread & Jam for the first time. Businesses turning over £1m are invited to engage over a three course meal.
  • The POD Pod offers the chance to speak to a panel of experts who will help you to understand your Point of Difference (POD) and help you to refine your sales pitch.
  • New Producer Awards: Apply for the New Producer Awards that are run by Speciality Food Magazine - winners are announced in the Marketplace on the Thursday.
