Transmit Start-Ups awarded Enterprise Support Organisation of the Year

Earlier this month, Transmit Start-Ups were delighted to win ‘Enterprise Support Organisation of the Year’ at the 2017 National Enterprise Network Awards. Being recognised with this excellence in delivery of enterprise support and encouraging the exchange of good practice was testament to the hard work and commitment of the Transmit Start-Ups team.

The role of the National Enterprise Network is to support its members working in the enterprise sector in England. They help to promote the successes of members and demonstrate the value they add. They also connect people and projects to help members achieve greater success. In support of the membership service, the National Enterprise Network also manage a high-profile conference and awards ceremony.

Following the announcement of the Awards Shortlist on 24th October, the winners of the 2017 National Enterprise Network awards were announced at the NatWest supported National Enterprise Network Annual Conference on Friday 1st December 2017.

Winners in six categories were announced by National Enterprise Network Chairman, Graham Marley at the event held at the NatWest Conference Centre in London, where Transmit Start-Ups achieved the Enterprise Support Organisation of the Year, among a number of other commended entries.

“Based in Gateshead, Transmit Start Ups has changed substantially since its inception four years ago. Starting out as a smaller operator initially delivering start-up loans, it now delivers on a much bigger scale both in terms of its services and its geographical coverage. We were impressed by their innovative approach to customer service and the use of technology to grow their reach and efficiency.” – National Enterprise Network.

Other awards achieved by several organisations and individual members of the National Enterprise Network were; Enterprise Management Award, Unsung Hero of the Year Award, Enterprise Team of the Year Award and Enterprise Communicator of the Year Award.
